Our Team

Our legal, business, and technical expertise is apparent from our biographies. Our firm has an exceptionally strong chemical technology practice based upon many years of experience with companies in the chemical, food, and pharmaceutical industries including polymer chemistry, advanced molecule architecture, genetically modified and naturally bred agriproducts, chemical processing equipment, and microelectronic devices.

The firm is equally strong in its mechanical/physics practice based upon experience with equipment and systems within not just the chemical industries enumerated above, but also within the automotive, telecommunications, control systems and medical device fields.

All of our attorneys have technical science or engineering degrees, and are admitted to the state and federal patent bars.

Our clients often compliment us for being unusually adept at helping them to integrate intellectual property counsel with their business decision making. We think this valued skill of ours is due to our business and industrial experience. Prior to practicing law, some of our attorneys had direct industrial experience as research scientists, product developers and inventors themselves. Many of our attorneys had very significant prior legal and business experience as in-house corporate attorneys before entering private practice. Others worked as patent examiners in the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
