Kevin utilizes his extensive scientific and technological experiences within the semiconductor industry in understanding complex technologies in assisting with the procurement of intellectual property. Kevin drafts and prosecutes United States and foreign patent applications, and prepares legal opinions relating to the validity, enforceability, or infringement of United States patents.

Before joining Kagan Binder, Kevin was a Senior Engineer with ADC Telecommunications, Inc., a supplier of telecommunications equipment and services to consumers and businesses. He became an employee of ADC through the acquisition of Spectracom Company, a semiconductor manufacturing company where he was a founding member of the technical staff. At Spectracom, Kevin set up and commissioned a sector of the manufacturing facility and developed custom application-specific semiconductor processing equipment and methods. As an inventor himself, Kevin has applied for patents for much of his work, thus is experienced in the preparation of patent applications from the inventor's perspective.
